Let the Children March, is a book written by Monica Clark-Robinson and illustrated by Frank Morrison. This Coretta Scott King Honor Award for illustration 2019 winner is about children taking the stand and taking a peaceful protest. They marched and marched to prove that desegregation was necessary. Although they were attacked by dogs and sprayed water on they still didn't dispense. They ended in jail. After being released Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. came to an agreement and they desegregated schools.
