Earrings

This book, Earrings, by Judith Viorst and illustrated by Nola Langner Malone, is a book about a girl who really wants to have her ears pierced. It is a good read for kids in 1st to 2nd grade. She wants to have beautiful earrings that are so pretty that fits her every mood. She continues to ask and beg for earrings. She will do ANYTHING for earrings. At the end of the book, she still doesn't get her ears pierced. It ends with annoyed parents and the girl dreaming.
