No, David! is a Caldecott Honor Award winning book written and illustrated by David Shannon. This book is about a little boy named David that is continuously gets into trouble. He is always being told, No, David! At the end of the story, his mother tells him to come to her and she gives him a big hug and a I love you. Although David acts bad, his mother still loves him. This is great for 2 year old kids and up. This is a great book to read to Pre-K. Although it might give the kids some bad ideas, it also shows that doing bad things does not mean you aren't loved.
