The Secret of Whale Island

The Secret of Whale Island, by Thea Stilton is a graphic novel where the characters are mice. The Thea sisters, Colette, Violet, Nicky, Paulina, Pamela are a group of girls that is mentored by Thea Stilton. Thea Stilton is a journalist for the Rodent's Gazette, the most famous paper on Mouse Island. This story is about the Thea sister take on an adventure on Whale Island. As they come back to school, Mouseford Academy, the whales are supposed to move off of the coast of Whale Island but a killer whale decided to stick around and cause a mess. To disrupting fishermen, the girls investigate to find that the whale was looking for its pod(other groups of whales). At the end of the story, the bring the whale back to its pod and they attend the Mouseford ball. This book is good for a fun way to talk about marine animals and scientific words. I would use this for my library more or less. It wouldn't be used by me as much.
